Time stops for no man. Whatever is happening in your lives, be you ill and under par, or having the time of your lives making memories, the days of the week rotates at an alarming rate! It seems only yesterday that my Card Club ladies were here for their class in the new term.
This month our topic was on the mirror image technique. We have lots of new stamps, but there are still some old favourites and Wetlands is definitely one of those. The goose faces to the right, but by stamping on a clear sheet, you can transfer the ink onto your card stock to make him face to the left! Easy peasy! Will be doing a video to illustrate this soon so if you haven’t subscribed to my youtube channel check it out here and watch out for more free video tutorials at least once a week. My countdown to christmas series will be starting mid September, not too long to wait!
I also used the faux torn paper sponging technique and added something new from our Autumn/Winter catalogue. The wooden element finishes it off nicely, don’t you think? We have a fine tipped glue pen which I used sparingly to attach the wooden element to the card, but glue dots will work just as well. Hope you like it!
