At every Stampin’ Up! event, Demonstrators get together and swap card fronts using current products. Swapping card fronts is a wonderful source of inspiration throughout the year and sharing the love and talent has got to be a good thing, right? As OnStage is in April, retiring products are announced in May. We were given a heads up on a selection of stamps that we could work with and which were going to be carried forward to the next 2016-17 catalogue. So here it is!
It’s been ages since I used the Petite Petals set – I would naturally been drawn to a butterfly punch, but it made me stop so I could pick something else. I picked Petite Petals and the flower images really ARE petite, 6 stamps in a half sized box with a matching punch! I really enjoyed marrying the old with the new and absolutely loved working with it – the new being Timeless Textures.
My husband has not long retired, and when we were discussing where the next OnStage Live event was going to be I mentioned it was in Salt Lake City and wouldn’t it be nice if we happened to be on holiday there and I could attend it at the same time!
To err on caution, I used the 2015-2017 In Color collection both in inks and cardstock. I didn’t make as many this time as I was mindful of baggage allowance restrictions. What do you think? Did the girl do good?
