Something old and something new this Sunday. I’m addicted to copper embossing and am loving working with the Totally Trees photopolymer stamp set from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue!
I used Whisper White Thick cardstock for my card base so that I could dry emboss the Woodland for the backdrop.
For a dash of colour, I pulled Dapper Denim and the gorgeous ruched ribbon and you can see how Stampin’ Up!’s products from ink, cardstock and ribbon all coordinate beautifully.
Have you tried copper embossing? Instead of sponging the edges, I thought it would be cool to emboss the edges in copper but I only wanted a hint of an edge and those Timeless Texture stamps did the trick. Pop over to my instagram account if you want to see exactly which stamp I used here .

This is the inside which I stamped using an exclusive Hostess stamp set called Time of Year which has this enormous cursive script and a few key words such as “at”, “on your” and “this” and than four solid stamps in banner form for “christmas”, “birthday”, “time of year”, and “always”. Lastly, but by no means least, three darling images which you can use as appropriate with the corresponding banner of a trio of flowers, holly leaves and berries and an autumn leaf and acorn. Here is the list of supplies I used in more detail:
