I’ve been a Demonstrator for eight years and this is the first time we’ve got together for a Christmas meal in lieu of a meeting. This is the card I made for my fellow Inkees.
It was so lovely to see this lovely lady, with whom I shared a room on our very first “Convention” as it was known then when Stampin’ Up! first came to Europe. Only four Inspiring Inkees – Amanda, our Team Leader, one other, my roomie (below) and I !!! How big Amanda’s team has grown since then!
Many thanks to Amanda, our Team Leader pictured on the left below who organised it all. When we sat down for our meal, we played pass the parcel and when she stopped us, we opened our parcels to reveal party head gear to get in the festive spirit which we were allowed to keep. She also gave us little boxes containing after dinner chocolates with our name tags – on the back of which was a sticker which listed the menu we had selected at the time of booking. How clever!
Sadly there were absent friends who we missed who had to drop out at the last minute for various reasons.
I’d like to give a big shout to one of my Stampin’ Sisters, Rosie, who went to a lot of trouble to provide the evening’s entertainment with a quiz and she made these lovely baubles with the Home Sweet Home Bundle as gifts for everyone. Unfortunately she was not well and couldn’t come but still dropped these off with Amanda to ensure we all got them. Thank you so much Rosie – I hope you’re on the mend and feeling better by the day.
Happy Sunday!
