Cool Treats Bundle - Joy Fold Card

This Friday’s Fun project is a rather large square “Joy Fold” card. I’ve made rectangular ones before but thought it would be cool to try my hand at a square one. It struck me that Watermelon Wonder will be retiring at the end of May as this is one of the 2015-17 In Colors. Consequently I am using it up while I can! If you happen to love the 2015-17 In colors, get them now before they officially retire and before the announcement that it’s only available while stocks last to avoid disappointment. More importantly it also happens to coordinate with the delicious Tasty Treats Specialty DSP. The joy fold is really easy – a card within a card. I love the Frozen Treats dies too and I LOVED filling up my Sundae cup with those scoops of ice cream! I have included a cutting guide in this blog post as there are so many different layers to this card for ease of reference so scroll down to below the second picture of the card to see them.

Large card

Watermelon Wonder : 1 x 9-1/4″ x 5-7/8″, long side on top, score 5-7/8″, rotate 180 degrees so short panel is on left for your card base plus………..

Watermelon Wonder scrap for die cutting Sundae cup and cherry

Peekaboo Peach : 1 x 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and 1 x 5-1/2″ x 3″

Tasty Treats SDSP: 1 x 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ and 1 x 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″

Small card

Pool Party: 1 x 8-1/4″ x 4-1/8″, long side on top, score 4-1/8″ and fold in half

Peekaboo Peach: 2 x 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″

Whisper White: 1 x 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, die cut 1 x largest Square Stitched Shape plus scrap for stamping ice cream scoops and 2 strawberries

Tasty Treats SDSP: 1 x 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
