Delicate Details - Stamp with Elaine

Sunshine forecast for this weekend and what a difference it makes when the sun shines! We went to see our son yesterday and took him and his family out for a belated birthday lunch. So lovely spending time with the family. When they fly the nest – work, life and the distance that divides us gives us less opportunity to get together as often as we’d like.

I haven’t had much chance to “play” but managed to “throw” this together for today’s post. Don’t you just love the Delicate Details Sale-a-bration Freebie? It’s a giveaway with every £45 spend excluding shipping and handling. I bought the “So In Love” bundle in clear mount and added some cardstock and got the Delicate Details stamp set free and it coordinates beautifully with this set. The Delicate Details stamps are photopolymer. I mounted them all on Stampin’ Up!’s “F” block and stamped in Tip Top Taupe. This colour will be retiring on 31 May 2017. I cut vellum cardstock same size as my stamped layer, ran some fast fuse where it would be hidden by the “So Detailed” thinlits die cut belly band and …………tada!………..the card was done. Love, love, love it! The thing that takes the time is sitting and contemplating what one should do – but once you’ve decided what that thing is you want to do, it comes together pretty quick.
