Hi All! What kind of week have you had? Mine’s been a bit of a mixed bag. Highlight of the week (long story short), the kitchen has had a face lift due to a manufacturing fault way back in 2009, which caused the vinyl wrap on our kitchen units to become unstuck or “blown”. The company were very apologetic – and gave us a huge discount to replace all the doors and drawer fronts at cost and it just goes to show what a horrendous mark up there is on kitchens when you walk into their showroom for the first time! I chose white again, because I like the crisp, easy to clean look.
The bummer was losing our internet! Fine when you have it, but darn frustrating when you don’t! I’ve been busy preparing for a new release Sale-a-bration event next Sunday and have finally got my goodies out to properly play, so watch this space!!!
Speaking of Sale-a-bration, here’s a technique called spotlighting which I used on the Inside the Lines Designer Series paper which coordinates with the Dragonflies & Dreams bundle (page 26 in the Spring/Summer catalogue).
Spotlighting means you highlight just an area of your project and I’ve framed it by die cutting with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layering circle dies then added a linen thread bow.
Thanks for visiting today and I’ll be back next Wednesday with a video tute.
