When you know something isn’t going to be around anymore, it galvanises you into action. I’ve been busy creating lots of cards using this set so I hope it will give you plenty of ideas. Someone said to me if dies are no longer available, then what? All is not lost, you can still use the stamps without the dies it just means having to get back to basics and fussy cut!
I hope these samples will kick start your creative juices. Hope you like them and I’d love to see them, so please share on my Facebook page, or email it to me and I will feature you as a guest designer on my blog!

Cut the cone just over bottom half to create a cupcake case. What’s left over can be used as a pennant for a bunting. The die can be used for ice cream or a cupcake……..
or clouds!
The candles here are actually for stamping the sandwich layers of the cake slice but thinking laterally, I thought why not big candles?
Use up scraps of DSP to embellish with. I’ve used the Playful Background photopolymer stamps to echo the bokeh effect in the Falling In Love DSP. For the sentiment I used a post-it note to cover up the “graduate” part of the sentiment and only used “Congratulations”. The Metallic Enamel shapes in gold make a nice change from Rhinestones.
Embossing folders are great for adding texture in a small section to make a card pop. I’ve added the metallic doilies and layering is another good way of adding texture. The lace doiley one is no longer available, but you can substitute it for another.
