Yay! Another long weekend! Not that it makes much difference if you’re “retired”, or at least if your other half is. Everyday seems like a long weekend! You’d think that without the daily grind of a day at the office, life at home should pan out more leisurely – nothing could be further from the truth!!! Sometimes you wonder, where did you ever find time to go to work!! lol!
Mind you, better to keep those brain cells active and life in general active and that’s where my journey with Stampin’ Up! began! I feel blessed to have forged so many friendships with the love of crafting at its core, so my family expect nothing less than a hand-made card.
As a Demonstrator, if you attend a Stampin’ Up! Onstage Live event, you can pre-order new stuff called a Purchase Product Premier within a limited window of opportunity – one of the perks of attending OnStage. You’re given a list with a selection of goodies from the forthcoming new Annual Catalogue (which goes live on June 1st) which you can buy ahead of launch day so that we can prepare samples to show your customers and friends. So here’s a Sneak Peek at this gorgeous set which I made for our anniversary. Nothing fancy schmancy, but boy does it look COOL and it’s so easy to make too. I love cards that pack a punch with minimum effort, especially if you need an “emergency” card and are time poor!
Take a look at one of the new In-Colors! Really rich – in fact it looks quite regal and a great addition to our existing collection. I often wonder who dreams up the names for the colours – this one is called Fresh Fig. I’m loving those ombre glitter enamel dots and I know you’ll just love them when you see them.
The stamp set is called “Lovely Inside & Out” and the coordinating framelits “Lovely Words Thinlits”. It’s difficult to visualise what stunning creations you can make from the images at first, and it isn’t until you ink it up and play with it that makes this set pop. They’re great for any age group and especially for masculine cards and we know we need more of those don’t we? I can’t wait to explore this more!
Happy Sunday and have a great Bank Holiday Monday!
