As I couldn’t decide which Mother’s Day Card I preferred to publish – I’m publishing both! I was trying to think outside the box. I hope you like the end result because personally, I’m not entirely sure about this one. It’s out of my comfort zone, but it was fun challenging myself to use the embellishment kit in this unexpected way. I’m sure it will be press ganged into being used with the Cake Soiree Bundle very soon!
I used a Pink Pirouette card base and stamped the top half with tone on tone Pink Pirouette ink with the handbag image from A Mother’s Flair. For the bottom half, I used the Rose Gold Foil dots from Springtime Foils (a Sale-A-Bration item). The Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit had been sitting in my “to do” box unloved and shouting out to be used and that’s how this card came about. There is some velvet like scalloped ribbon, paper tassels tipped with silver foil and punch outs in vellum and silver foiled washi tape which I used to embellish this card.
