Happy Easter Monday! I packed all my edible easter projects I’ve made recently in a box and sent them on to the younger grandsons – better in their tummies than mine! They expend so much energy that they’ll easily burn the calories off whilst if I indulge, it’ll remain on my hips!
I have to confess a couple of goodies didn’t make the cut – the box I sent them in was already full and it was impossible to fit the rest in (she says gleefully) and split the “overflow” dutifully with Grandpa.
The littlest one loves milky way white chocolate buttons, so when I spotted these hollow white chocolate rabbits they were the perfect easter project tailor made for him.
The 2″ x 2″ acetate boxes Stampin’ Up! made ideal “hutches” for these Lindt bunnies – and I used the Myths & Magic 6″x 6″ glimmer paper stack to die cut the grass for the cube, ready shreddie for their bedding and simply monogrammed the lid so that they could tell who is who’s.
I managed to squeeze in some packets of Micro-chocolate eggs as well as ………
Chocolates in a “wood crate” – a die that I’d completely forgotten about which came in very useful for this time of year!
Enjoy the Easter break!
