As a Demonstrator, I have this dilemma year upon year of having to let things go because they are retiring, and one of those was Gorgeous Grunge. Sometimes absolute favourites which I find too difficult to say “good-bye” to gets put away in a special place, but who am I kidding – a year on since it retired – it still hasn’t seen ink!
Point I’m trying to get to, if one goes, then something better will come along and it has! In today’s video, I’m featuring the retiring Badges & Banners set and its matching Best badge punch and a sneak peek of a new stamp set called Artisan Textures. Roll VT – enjoy.
Don’t confine yourself to just using it as a badge, you can make woodland critters like the owl and also use the top of the best badge punch to make a scalloped edge as illustrated in the card with the bird cage. For the owl’s breast, I used the retiring Sweet & Sassy Framelits and for his eyes and beak thankfully we still have the cookie cutter builder punch.
