Good Day everyone! Here’s another card I created as a Display Stamper for our Team Training Day last week.
As I’m not a very flowery person, Petal Promenade’s heavy floral patterns proved to be quite a challenge for me. I wanted a way to subdue the busy patterns – but still allow the beauty of the floral background be visible without being too garish.
My solution was to sandwich a layer of vellum on top of the floral DSP, and I die cut the edge of the vellum using the new Delicate Lace Edgelits – blink and you’ll miss them – it’s on page 217 in the Annual Catalogue for 2018-19.
Remember the Boxwood Wreaths which first made its appearance Autumn/Winter Catalogue last year? I am SO SO happy they’re in our product line for this year!
I fussy cut one of the wreath labels and threaded the wired Boxwood Wreaths behind, then covered up the back with a 2″ punched circle and adhered it to the vellum, tied gold cord to the side and a bow to match on the wreath. Lastly I added the Blossoms elements and was really pleased with the final result.
The stamp set I used for the sentiment in the middle is from Floral Frames. Thanks for visiting today. Enjoy your weekend!
