Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! At time of writing, we’re still experiencing a heat wave. I filmed a similar project to this during that heat wave. Surrey hit 35 degrees celsius which registered as the hottest day of the year thus far! I couldn’t have the fan on as it would have drowned my voice so I was literally dripping from perspiration! That project I filmed was “Time for Tea” and I really love these copper tins. I drew inspiration from the Time for Tea Suite in the Annual Catalogue, but tweaked it to make it my own. Stampin’ Up!’s “dis-ink-tive” stamps add depth and texture to an image in just one single action.
It never ceases to amaze me that you can take a blank sheet of card stock, grab a stamp, ink it up, and create your own Designer Series Paper. This was the project I designed for our team meeting last month using the Healing Hugs stamp set. I also used the Time for Tea and A Big Thank You stamp sets. We used the vinyl copper stickers to decorate the tin lid and we copper embossed the vellum to decorate the front of the tin.
Thanks for visiting !
Great blog. Keep it up.
