Pick a Pennant

Happy Sunday!

I made this card for my bff’s son’s daughter – and having a distinct lack of grand-daughters in our family,  I welcomed the excuse to create something girly for hers!

We arrived in UK within a few months of each other, knowing no-one, both married to  Englishmen and miles away from our own families, mine in Australia, and hers in Brazil, and we have been friends ever since.  Our boys went to the same primary school so our friendship has spanned more than 30 years!

The Pick a Pennant stamps are  photopolymer stamps and I didn’t appreciate how versatile they could  be until I actually inked it up and had a good play.

I’ve also used the Birthday Backgrounds stamps in clear mount which co-ordinates with it beautifully.

I have a video tutorial using this same bundle coming next week, so do pop back to look at how I made another pennant card similar to this one.
