Happy Sunday everyone!
Did you have a good week? Pull up a chair and relax today. If you don’t follow me, then have a look at the free video tutorial I made Friday before last HERE – I featured the new Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder and this stamp set called Country Home.
This time I used a mixture of Stampin’ Blends and watercolor pencils to colour in my images. Instead of stamping on Whisper White, I actually stamped on Gray Granite card stock, so that I could use a white colour pencil to colour in the cotton buds as it wouldn’t have been visible had I used Whisper White card stock. I stamped the jug on Whisper White in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and used Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends to colour it in, then fussy cut to lay on top of the Gray Granite floral arrangement.
To give it a verdigris effect, I scribbled Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend over the Tin Tile embossed piece and lightly ran my Gray Granite ink pad over the surface. The edges of the stamped floral piece was distressed by running the blade of scissors over the edges and I sponged Mint Macaron over it.
I attached a galvanized clip to the right of the jug, and tied a bow with Mint Macaron twine as a finishing touch.
