Hello Stampin’ friends!
Oooh – I’ve just realised, I’m typing this post discussing the weather forecast for this Sunday and this post is being scheduled weeks in advance! Who knows what the weather will be like a few weeks down the line – giggles, laughing at my own “senior moments”!!!
Here’s a sneak peek of a card I made from Frosted Floral Suite. The stamp set is called First Frost and the dies are called Frosted Bouquet Dies. There is a 10% saving as a Bundle if you purchase both the stamps and coordinating dies together. There’s already light and shade built into the stamp, although it doesn’t say it is one of Stampin’ Up!’s dis-INK-tive sets and sometimes “less” is “more” so I let the stamps “sing”!
I resized the label Framelit die in the set, so that there wouldn’t be so much white space on the label, looped some rose metallic thread behind. To finish, I used one of the frosted epoxy droplets to attach on the label and made a solution for spraying Frost White shimmer paint over the whole card front. Looks better in real life – unfortunately the frosted shimmery sheen is not visible in this photo.
Please bear in mind that the First Frost Bundle is not available to purchase until 5 September, so please do not try to order them before that date. Not long to wait and if you shopped with me in August, you would’ve earned come Bonus Day rewards to redeem against your purchases in September!
