Hi Everyone!
This is a birthday card I made for one of the twins – one loves Flamingos (you know who you are) and the other loves unicorns.
I’m not sure if this is a flamingo, or a heron. If it’s a heron, call it artistic licence – I’ll pretend it’s a flamingo – that’s why I stamped it in Flirty Flamingo ink! There is a die in the Lilypad Lake bundle which cuts out wiggly apertures to look like the ripples on lakes/ponds/sea so I die cut it in Whisper White and adhered it to a Balmy Blue mat layer.
The greenery was die cut from Joyous Noel glimmer paper which unfortunately doesn’t show up in this photo, but it is really pretty in real life.
You can stamp, colour and die cut the lilypad separately too, which is what I did and adhered it on top of the wiggly lines. Once die cut, the wiggly pieces can tear quite easily, so this was one way to keep them from tearing. I hope she liked it!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
