Are you a frugal crafter? Today’s project illustrates how you can make a little go a long way! From just a 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) sheet of paper, I had the potential to make 9 card layouts. For this video I made a half dozen as it was a nice round number. I’ve even provided a cutting template which has been scaled up to make the writing more visible on the blog and also a card map to make it easier for you to reference.
Card Map for One Sheet Wonder 6”x 6” DSP Note cards & Envelops in various stages in the making. You can use plain card stock for your mat layers, I cut mine 1/8″ (0.3 cm) wider for a more subtle border. You could cut them 1/4″ wider if you wish.
I didn’t use up all the pieces. Pieces A, F1 and F2 were left and you can decorate it as you wish for a larger sized card.
The more eagle-eyed among you for Cut 3 might notice that there is no need to rotate the card stock as the remaining piece after you cut A & B is 5″ square – but since I’d drawn the diagram, and you normally orient your paper trimmer blade to cut vertically, I rotated it in the instructions. Hope that makes sense.
