At time of writing, we were seeing our son on the weekend to take him out for a celebratory birthday lunch. I still can’t quite believe we have a son who is now in his early 40s!!!

Do you have the Big Shot embossing mats? I love them! Did you know you can use these special embossing plates to get more out of your dies other than for die cutting? This is the first time I used the grey mat – I usually use the thin blue silicon mat, but I thought I’d give the grey one a try and it leaves a much deeper impression and it’s fantastic! See for yourself!
It’s safe to post now as I delivered his card to him personally, and I doubt very much that he would visit my blog – that would be uncool (winks).
In case you’re wondering, the sentiment for the inside of the card comes from the “Stitched All Round” stamp set. I just love the font on it.
