I had originally scheduled this post to publish last Friday, but when I looked at the calendar, I suddenly realized that Mother’s Day in the UK is on Sunday 31st March! Suffice to say when you have to re-schedule, a lot of things happen behind the scenes to re-edit, change titles, re-render the footage on this video in addition to having to create a new one to fill in the now vacant slot for Friday’s one! Phew! After all that palaver, I hope you enjoy today’s project!
Here’s a video tute on how I made the box – I’ve made different versions of this throughout the years in different sizes too. This one will fit a mini Lindt rabbit or you can make up little bags of mini eggs using Stampin’ Up!’s cello bags. I used the 2″x 8″ cello bags and cut them in half so it would hold 5 mini M&M Easter eggs. To seal the bottom of the 2nd half which will be open at both ends, I just folded 1/8″ a couple of times and used cello tape to seal one end and tied the opening with linen thread after I’d put the eggs in.
