Happy Easter everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your Easter break with your nearest and dearest!
Trawling through my stash, I re-discovered the “Hold On To Hope” stamp set which has coordinating dies and I immediately wanted to use these for my Easter cards. I carefully inked versamark around the outline of the banner so I could gold emboss it, then added my own words using the “Make a Difference” photopolymer stamp set to spell “He is Risen”.
What a blessing to have the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool – it made stamping the multi-coloured floral image Sooooo much EASIER!!! I inked the image in Powder Pink, then used the stampin’ write 2017-19 In Colour Markers to add the darker colours. You can do this quite easily if you’re going from light to dark – which meant I could stamp the whole floral image in Powder Pink, then I used Tranquil Tide for the leaves only, and Fresh Fig for the other flowers.
I cut Whisper White card fronts measuring 5″ x 3-3/4″ (12.7 cm x 9.5 cm), stamped Easter Blessings from “Itty Bitty Greetings” in Powder Pink and embossed it afterwards with the Subtle Dynamic TIEF. The assembled cross was then adhered to the embossed card front with dimensionals. Once the layer was completed, this was adhered to the Gold Foiled edge card base.
At time of posting, I’m feeling quite pleased with myself for having made these ready to send off well in advance of the due date! Just a small matter of remembering where I put them, otherwise – murphy’s law, I’ll have to make some more!!!! lol!
