Are you a feline fan or a canine one? Growing up, my Mum used to have such a menagerie of creatures in suburbia. We moved home so many times and each home had its own quirkiness or need.
In one of our homes in the Far East, it was quite boggy at one end of the garden and grass snakes were not uncommon, so she kept geese, yes, geese! They used to scare me witless! When I came home from boarding school, I was greeted by this gaggle of geese hissing at me!
We also had Siamese Cats and when moved to Hong Kong and lived in an apartment, she kept little song birds in pretty bird cages hanging outside on the balcony. Most of all, we had dogs, our most loved and loyal was actually a mongrel called Blackie so I lean more toward dogs myself.
I know hubby would love to have one, but with my asthma, and because of carpets in our home, I’ve not been a great advocate for having one of our own. So, I have to content myself with this kind of dog – in a stamp set and I can create lots of different breeds with it as well!
Today’s video shows you how to stamp a mirror image of this little pooch with the help of the Stampin’ Up!’s stamp positioning tool – the Stamparatus. If you haven’t invested in one yet, here’s one of the many reasons why you should! I’m thrilled with mine and have found it invaluable for all sorts of techniques.
