Happy Sunday!
I do love a bit of Vintage – does anyone else? Not necessarily as home decor, but I don’t mind the grungy look on a card. When Soft Sky retired, I was really sad, because I love pastel shades and that one has been a very popular “go to” colour in my book.
Thankfully one of the new In Colors for 2019-2021 has another soft blue called Seaside Spray – how Stampin’ Up! dreams up these names is beyond me – but they must have fun trying to find the right one to describe their colours!
I stuck with a monotone and combined two stamp sets which happen to be on adjacent pages in the new Annual Catalogue – 112 and 113.
The inside of the card has a surprise pop-up element. Just some simple stamping on the card front, stamping off with the script and I used the Stamparatus hinge technique for the stamping repetitions.
I sponged all the edges in Seaside spray on both the pop up card insert and card front before adhering it to the card base.
Watch out for a video tutorial in the future on how I created the pop-up element.
Wherever you may be, whether at home or abroad during the long summer vacation – have a good one!
