Happy Sunday!
This is the penultimate card of the Silhouette Scenes I created and this time I used the Friendly Silhouettes dies as well.
Remember those Adhesive sheets which were in last year’s catalogue? If it doesn’t sell, Stampin’ Up! will discontinue them and that’s exactly what happened which I’m really sad about. It has been my “best friend” because if you have intricate patterns adhesive sheets are the best thing since sliced bread! Thank goodness I still have a plentiful supply.
I stuck an Adhesive sheet to the back of Basic Black card stock before I ran the card stock and dies through my die cutting machine and adhered it directly on to the See a Silhouette DSP.
With the help of the Stamparatus, I positioned the girl on the swing to the horizontal branch and stamped it in versamark with my own formula of Shimmer Black embossing powder. I mixed one and a half teaspoon of black embossing powder with one teaspoon of Dazzling Diamonds. Up close and personal, you can see the sparkle in her silhouette.
The bottom silhouette is from the Friendly Silhouette Dies which has a coordinating stamp set called “Friend Like You”. I left a border wide enough to stamp “Keep dreaming” on the bottom which was embossed in white.
The Friendly Silhouette piece was much longer than required for the card front, but I didn’t want it to go to waste so I put it on the inside of the card.
