I have another sample I made to show case the Ornate Garden Suite. Being a Demo, we get to play with this newly released Ornate Style Bundle even earlier!
I made this birthday card for one of my team whose birthday was in March which appeared on my instagram account a few weeks ago. Here are details on how it was made.
The Ornate Layers Dies are gorgeous, so I used the largest one as the background layer in Terracotta Tile, and used one of the dies to partially emboss with to add some texture. You can emboss with dies by using the special embossing mats. To make the sandwich from bottom up – Basic Platform>die face up>cardstock>thin blue silicone mat>white impressions plate, then run it through the Big Shot.
The cluster of flowers is one stamp, and I white embossed the image on Shimmery White card stock which absorbs water better than using ordinary Whisper White. I used an aqua painter to add colour the flowers in Terracotta Tile, So Saffron, Highland Heather and Mint Macaron for the leaves.
I clear embossed the “Happy Birthday” from Peaceful Moments on vellum card stock, and fussy cut another white embossed daisy which was adhered to the vellum with Tear & Tape. The daisy hides the single dimensional underneath which attaches the vellum to the floral bouquet.
To complete the card, I added some ribbon from the combo ribbon pack and gilded gems.
Here are the supplies I used:
