Sadly in all families we have to endure the loss of a loved one and my sister-in-law rang to convey her sympathies. During our chat, it transpired that the lock down had prevented her from re-stocking or purchasing much needed cards for various occasions.
It then occurred to me that as a crafter and Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I had a whole arsenal to choose from and that was something I had a plentiful supply of so in the meantime I put together a kit to post to her as a stop gap.
My son-in-law’s father passed away this week, it wasn’t unexpected, but nevertheless, no less hard to bear when it happens and especially during this pandemic when those near and dear need to practice social distancing.
When you need a sympathy card, being a Demonstrator has its advantages and I was able to create one to send to his Mum and the family and a personal one for him. My grandsons absolutely adored their paternal grandpa. He will be greatly missed.
The sentiments for this one came from Path of Petals. I wouldn’t normally share something so personal, but this was the only thing I had crafted recently and it’s hard to get any mojo back when you’re feeling low.
I will leave it here for today. Thanks for visiting.
