G’Day everyone – as the Aussies say! It’s been a busy week. To be honest every week is busy – but some are busier than others!
The title “Celebration of Tags” describes the stamp set, but instead of tags, I made them as card toppers! I have two cards for you today!
It’s Your Day Card
The stamps are photopolymer and the stamp is a single stamp but all three images for the three different shaped tags is incorporated in it. You only need stamp it once. Similarly, the “Trio of Dies” die is one die, but will cut all three tags with just one pass through the die cutting machine.
Being photopolymer, the stamps are clear, so you can see exactly where you’re stamping. I stamped the outline in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Did you think that I coloured the roses with Stampin’ Blends? You thought wrong! There was a stamp for the leaves, and one for the roses, both manufactured so that you stamp all the leaves together on the one stamp as well as the one for the roses. Cool, huh?
Hip Hip Hooray card
That zebra is so stinkin’ cute! I love it. A miniature version of the Zany Zebras stamp set. I couldn’t help myself and had to create a card with this too.
They looked a bit stark in Whisper White, so I sponged them in Highland Heather and die cut a frame from the Tasteful Labels dies and popped them up with dimensionals.
For the “Here’s to You” sentiment, I stamped it three times in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Highland Heather cardstock, taking care to align them so that it would be one continuous sentiment. I partially die cut the flag end with the stitched tag from Tasteful Labels dies set. The other end was trimmed with snips with a tiny overlap so that it could be tucked underneath the frame of the Hip Hip Hooray sentiment.
To see what I did with the “Whale Hello” tag, do pop back next week as I’ve created a fun fold card video tutorial with the Whale Done Bundle!
Here are supplies I used for both cards.
