Just a quickie post today to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving Day. We don’t mark it ourselves, but for those who do, have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
The card base is in Cajun Craze. I used the gorgeous Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Papers which has gold foiling. To make the layer “pop” I cut a 1/4″ frame and reserved the inside of the frame to use on another project.
I also die cut 2 layers of fencing which I glued together for added strength. The top piece was sponged in Cajun Craze so that it would highlight the embossed wood grain.
Both the pumpkin vignette and sentiment were gold embossed on Whisper White card stock. A little colouring with Stampin’ Blends and hey presto, the card was complete.
To “ground” the fence, I added some metallic copper ribbon along the base of the fence.
