This has to be the easiest Fancy Corner fold I’ve ever made! I finally get to play with the Hydrangea Haven bundle. In fact the whole Suite is gorgeous! I love hydrangeas too. Such pretty flowers, don’t you think?
The thing to remember is to adhere the pretty paper to the card front before you partially cut the corner on the card front. You’ll have to watch the video to see how it’s done!
I chose to work with Purple Posy, because it was an In Color that was introduced in 2019 and so it will be retiring at the end of May. Also in the Suite, are the fabulous Hydrangea Hill Mercury Designer Acetate sheets. I used a tiny square 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ as a mat layer.
By making two adjacent cuts, you can flip the corner so that the patterned paper is visible from the inside.

In the video I show you an easel card sample. Here’s a close up of that gorgeous die which can be laid over the flower head of the full floral die. You can see how this special die only partially cuts through so that you can pop up the petals.
