Clean and simple floral card

Happy Sunday – I have a clean, simple floral card to share today. This will be a short quick post, as I am sure you have better things to do now that lock down is easing and we’re able to have family/friends to visit.

My daughter and her brood are coming to stay and I can’t wait. They last visited in August 2020 and it seems an eternity since we last saw them.

When you have such a beautiful suite of products as in the Expressions in Ink suite, you don”t have to do much yourself. Instead you can make the pretty paper and the die cut speak for itself. There was very little stamping – “best wishes” in one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors called Polished Pink.

The Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer papers are stunning on both sides of the 12″x 12″ sheets. One side has gold foil accents, and the other side has the alcohol ink painted effects. It was difficult to choose which side to show off without sacrificing the other side which is equally beautiful.

One tip for die cutting intricate detailed dies is to back the card stock with an adhesive sheet first. It will save you time and you won’t end up with sticky fingers or a delicate die cut piece which has a mind of its own when you try to adhere it!

There is an Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack which consists of gold leaf laser cuts and frames which I used to make it “pop”. It echoes the veins of gold leaf running through the Designer Series Paper.

Recently, I shared a video tutorial and card using this same bundle which you can see HERE.

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
