The weeks seem to be flying by and we’re halfway through June already so the time has come to make a pop up Father’s Day card in time for June 20th. I looked at my stash and wondered how the Beauty of Friendship bundle could translate into making a pop up Father’s Day card. I picked out the colours from The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Papers and here’s the result.
Initially, the card looks quite ordinary, until you open it and the pop up mechanism comes into play. There is a pair of bird dies in the Beauty of Friendship bundle. I die cut them in Crumb Cake and one of the birds sits in the branches of the tree, and the other acts as a stopper for the pop up.
