I have an anniversary card with pastels using the Always in my Heart bundle. At the end of my Soft Pastel series which you can see HERE and HERE, I discovered even more ways to apply pastels. This time I used Stampin’ Up!’s new Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks.
Unfortunately the photo doesn’t do the card justice. The mat layer is cut from gorgeous ombre glitter specialty paper. There are only four 12″ x 12″ sheets in the pack. These are one sheet each in Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade. Naturally I chose the Night of Navy sheet and it is absolutely stunning! To conserve the glitter paper, I cut a 1/4″ frame so I could use the “inside” for something else. Waste not, want not!
I resurrected the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder which has been with us for a while. My most used “Subtles 3D embossing folder” has sadly retired.
Just some simple stamping on the inside as the front was kind of “busy”. To see how I made this, do press “play” on the video. As I’ve said many times before, a picture speaks a thousand words so a visual on the video is even better!
