Blending technique with Welcoming Woods

How quickly time passes so this Sunday I’m sharing a card I made using the blending technique with Welcoming Woods.

Have you tried blending with brushes? They’re the bees knees! I love how seamlessly the colours merge into one another. The trees were stamped in Early Espresso, and looking skywards, I used Crushed Curry and Balmy Blue.

Find that die!

I have a teaser for you. Can you find which die set the little label comes from? I wanted to expose as much of the embossed Crushed Curry layer as I could. This is one of the new embossing folders called Timber. The die I chose was small enough to allow maximum exposure of the Timber grain.

One thing’s for sure, I haven’t listed it in my supply list below! If you can guess/find it leave me a comment!

Stepping it up

The woods needed some woodland creatures from Peaceful Deer stamp set. I fussy cut the deer and coloured it with the Crumb Cake stampin’ blends combo.

Inside card

Although I omitted stamping a sentiment for the inside of the card, I did try to tie it in with the stamped images on the card front. I partially stamped the trees and added some falling leaves.

I hope you’re enjoying some family down time. Thanks for popping by.
