Easy Thank you card

Wishing you a happy Sunday and sharing an easy “Thank You” card using “Feels like Home” stamp set.

Last Sunday, I showed you a diorama card using this stamp set. This week, I thought I’d do a follow on to show you how easy it is to make a thank you card with it. Do you often ask a neighbour, or neighbours to keep an eye out for your property while you’re on holiday? I’m always looking for something appropriate to say “thank you” on my return. We usually find a gift local to the area we’ve visited and it’s nice to have a card to accompany it.

Embossing folders are a fab way to use as a back drop. Stampin’ Up! has such a variety to choose from. One of their latest is this duo of Dotty Hearts Embossing folders. I totally missed them in the Annual catalogue and am glad that they’re now in my possession! Home is where the heart is, so it seemed appropriate to use that as a background for the stamped image.

If you’re new to crafting and haven’t yet invested in a die cutting machine, the little Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is a good place to start. It’s portable, more affordable, doesn’t take up too much space on your desk, and these embossing folders are designed for the mini.

The colour palette is Pale Papaya with Pale Papaya rhinestones for some “bling”. These are from the 2021-2023 In Color jewels.

Stampin’ hugs xx
