It’s Sunday again and this time I have a vellum embossed card with the Shaded Summer stamp set.
Did you know you can emboss on vellum? When you emboss with vellum, it turns white as the embossed impression is made. The new Merry Melody 3D embossing folder can be found on page 42 of the July-December 2021 Mini. Seeing this folder brought back so many memories of my youth.
I started learning to play the piano when I’d just turned six, and continued to play all through my school life and beyond. At boarding school, I used to play at assemblies and prayers in the evening and was asked to perform at concerts at the end of year Speech nights. It was a bit nostalgic seeing this embossing folder. I must get my piano tuned! I haven’t played since leaving Bromley to relocate to Hampshire.
Back to the card – the embossed sheet of music makes a stunning background. I stamped the floral image from Shaded Summer, a stamp set in the Annual Catalog which I totally missed. When I saw that the Summer Shadow dies was in the Sale-a-bration brochure, I just had to get the stamp set too. lol!
