Fancy Fold Card with Counting Sheep

Today I have a Fancy Fold card with Counting Sheep stamps and also the Sheep Dies. We’re half way through Sale-a-bration, so I thought I’d better feature these asap.

The Counting Sheep stamp set is free subject to a qualifying purchase of £45 before shipping. The Sheep Dies are also a free item with a £45 purchase. These are while stocks last.

Sheep Dies

Not only does the set contain the dies for the sheep, but there are extras like the fences, clouds, flag, sun and balloon. The dies which coordinate with the stamped images are the three sheep and party hat. I’ve literally die cut everything! Oh, and I almost forgot, a pair of clouds!

Background

I die cut the backgrounds in Granny Apple green and used the Bark 3D embossing folder to give the impression of a field of grass. Then I randomly stamped the grass in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

My card base is in Thick Whisper White, so I was able to use a blending brush to add Balmy Blue for the sky without adding further layers.

Back of card

I used the reverse side of the card as a place to address the recipient and also to say who it’s from. A Granny Apple Green mat layer was adhered to the back to give added strength. A little stamping on Basic White card stock cut 1/8″ smaller than the Granny Apple Green layer to add a little contrast.
