I have a mirror technique for a trellis card created with Wisteria Wishes and some fabulous new dies! They’re called the Split Card Textures Dies.
I just couldn’t resist these Split Card Textures Dies because I don’t think we’ve ever had this type of die before. You can use the dies in portrait or landscape orientation. I chose to use mine in landscape .
There is a die which resembles twisted vine which I die cut in Crumb Cake. The stamps are photopolymer which makes lining the wisteria blooms with the stems and leaves really easy. To get two shades of Orchid Oasis, you simply stamp off on a scrap of paper before stamping on your project. The second time you stamp without re-inking the stamp will be lighter.
Inside card
The back of the die cuts on the front of the card is visible from the back when you open the card. It looked messy and I wanted to cover it up. That’s where the Mirror Technique comes in.
I know I keep wittering on about how great the Stamparatus is. It’s not simply just a stamp positioning tool – you can use it to create a mirror effect on your project. You can see other samples I’ve made using this technique HERE and HERE. Scroll down and watch the video tutorial below to see how it all came together.
