Simple square card – Pretty Pop Ups

I loved making this simple square card with the Pretty Pop-Ups dies. Hello and Happy Sunday! Sundays keep coming at such an alarming rate! The week seems so short and there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day.

Is anyone gearing up for the Jubilee weekend? I must get my act together and think of something suitable.

The Pretty Pop-ups dies are really unusual dies. It comes with 3 basic shapes, an oval, small rectangle and a large circle and it’s aptly name “pop-ups” because some of the elements don’t cut all the way through so that they can be popped up! Also included are small individual floral dies, butterflies and a dragonfly which don’t cut all the way through either. So the wings, petals or leaves can pop up too. You can see it HERE in a previous post, if you missed it.

This is the largest circle pop-up die which I die cut out of Basic White card stock. I coloured the various elements with Stampin’ Blends using Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Mint Macaron. Those lovely blue rhinestones which came with the early release Waves of Inspiration are no longer available. You can substitute it for the Rhinestone Basic jewels and colour them with an alcohol stampin’ Blend pen.

I haven’t put any sentiments on the card yet. It will be one for the emergency card pile so I can add a sentiment when the need arises.
