This is my last clean and simple father’s day card with a video tutorial for 2022. We have had new, now we must not forget the old! I’m thrilled that “Whiskey Business” is still with us and is in the new 2022-23 Annual catalogue.
The new deckled rectangles dies are a Godsend! I’ve been using them such a lot recently. As they are “a la cart” dies, meaning they are not paired with any stamp set, you can use it with whatever stash you have. I love its versatility!
The smallest of the deckled rectangles was perfect for embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder to make it pop against the Early Espresso background. Here’s another tip. I’d stamped the sentiment a little off centre. To hide my mistake, I simple tied some linen thread on the longer end to balance it out. See? There’s always a way!
