It’s also NOT just for Christmas, I’ve made mine into a birthday card.
I can’t stop using the Deckled Rectangles dies. In my crafting world, it’s the best thing since sliced bread. There are eight dies in the set – counting from the smallest at 1 up to the the largest at 8. I used the largest for the black mat layer, and size 6 which I die cut from another sneak peek, the Gingham Cottage 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper. This pack is HUGE! It contains 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double sided designs. The colours are suitable for any occasion, pastel shades, traditional Christmas colours and even ones suitable for Halloween!

Here’s the card I made with the free Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes I received. The sentiment is from Happiness Abounds stamp set. I love the font in this set. It could be an anniversary card, or an engagement one. I had to draw freehand the eyes for the terrier I couldn’t leave them “blind” with no eyes! Aren’t they just adorable?
