Easy, quick card – Sunkissed

Here’s an easy, quick card with Sunkissed, one of the new stamp sets from the July-December 2022 Mini catalogue. To create this card, I also used two other stamp sets – Rays of Light and Amazing Phrases. In addition, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the circle where I stamped “Hey”.

So Saffron Rays of Light with Amazing Phrases

Photopolymer stamps are quite malleable and if you have a phrase, the stamp can be long, slim and quite floppy when you pick it up. It also means you can mount the stamp so that it follows the curve of a shape. In this instance, I used two stamps – one to curve over the top and the other to curve round the bottom of the circle.

Bare in mind, both the acrylic block has to be squeaky clean, and your stamps too. If not, they won’t retain the curved shape and if you don’t work quickly, the stamps will bounce back to their original shape!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the beach chairs and umbrella in the bottom left corner then used a blending brush to add a hint of So Saffron at the bottom of the card. Voilà it’s done!

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
