Here’s an easy fun fold – a fab pop up diamond Valentine card for the gents. I am featuring the Legendary Ride bundle and using other stamp sets like Watercolor Shapes, and Love for You.
This card uses a 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) piece of card stock cut at 6″ x 12″ (15.2 cm x 30.5 cm) so that each 12″x 12″ sheet will yield two cards. It just makes scoring and cutting so much easier than having to mess around with an A4 sheet. You need a heavyweight card stock for this to “pop up”. The Basic White 12″x 12″ sheets are too light and by the time you add layers, it will virtually be flat.
The diamond on the front naturally wobbles around because of the pivot point in the middle, but it does find it’s spot. Avoid too many layers if you wish for it to stay up. If you’re going to add embellishments, I suggest you add them to the bottom of the diamond rather than at the top.

Reverse side of diamond
I cut a Basic White piece 4″x 4″ (10.2 x 10.2 cm) to adhere to the back of the diamond for somewhere to address the recipient and say who it’s from. Granted, the enormous sun and motorbike didn’t leave much room, but enough if you try to pen in teeny tiny writing!
