Unveiling the Magic Winter Meadow Suite – Sneak Peek

Golly gosh, end of the month so time for a sneak peek at the Magical Meadow Suite! The September-December 2023 Mini launches on 6 September, so not long to wait! I’m kicking off with the Magical Meadow Suite. What I love about any of the Designer Series packs is that often, you’ll find some sheets which you can use as card fronts without having to add much else other than a sentiment. It’s especially useful if you’re making lots of Christmas cards and don’t want too many layers, nor too complicated a design.

Once I started “playing”, it was difficult to choose which one I would demo for my video tutorial. I took my inspiration from the September-December 2023 Mini but tweaked it to make it my own.

In Stampin’ Up!’s version below, they used different papers on the side, different embellishments, different stamped image and different dies to cut the label. I loved the paper piecing technique, so I used that technique as a springboard for mine.

Cutting details

  1. Card base : Basic White Thick 4 ½” x 9” (11.5 cm x 23 cm)
  2. Cut Basic White piece 4 ½” x 4 ½” (11.5 x 11.5 cm) to adhere the patterned paper pieces.
  3. Put an adhesive sheet behind a 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) piece of DSP and cut them into 1″ (2.5 cm) squares.
  4. Trim the paper pieced section to 2 ¾” x 4 ½” (7 cm x 11.5 cm).
  5. Cut a piece of different patterned paper 2″ x 4 ½” (5 cm x 11.5 cm) and tuck ¼” on the left underneath the paper pieced section.
  6. Scraps of Lost Lagoon and Basic White to die cut floral elements and labels.

Stampin’ Up! has a new Reward System beginning early April 2025. Customers now must have an online account and need to opt in to earn 10% of their qualifying commissionable product purchases to redeem as Stampin’ Rewards on future orders. A qualifying purchase must meet the minimum threshold requirement on commissionable products. Be aware that Stampin’ Rewards have an expiration date. They need not be redeemed all at once. Stampin’ Up!’s system tracks them and the rewards expiring first will be used first when redeemed. You can check the Rewards Dashboard to help you keep track of Rewards Expiration Date Information. Please note the new Stampin’ Reward System cannot use Rewards toward the purchase of a Starter Kit as the Starter Kit has non-commissionable items in it. The Host Code will become obsolete.
