Pick of the Patch – Week 1 of 6 Halloween countdown series

It’s week 1 of 6 Halloween countdown series. I’m using the Pick of the Patch bundle. It’s on page 51 of the new September-December 2023 Mini. The Pick of the Patch is made out of photopolymer so it’s easy to line up the images. It has a variety of different size pumpkins and different shapes of pumpkins as well. The different leaves, tendrils stamps allow you to build a bespoke pumpkin, even a crow and a Jack o’ lantern face. Sentiments in the stamp set are suitable for harvest, thanksgiving, thank you cards or Halloween so it’s pretty versatile.

The papers I used are from All About Autumn 6″x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Specialty pack, but at the time of writing, it is currently unavailable because it’s proved to be very popular, so keep checking until it’s back in stock. As the papers are so pretty, I didn’t want to cover it up. A neat trick is to use Vellum to wrap around the pretty paper. This way, it’s still visible and you can adhere your stamped images on top.

Inside card

For the inside of the card, I simply stamped the Jack O’ Lantern face randomly in Pumpkin Pie ink and the dots in Mossy Meadow ink.
