Discover how to make a beautiful square card with Fruitful Blessings. Sometimes it’s just nice to change things up a little. Now we’re into November, the focus is on Autumn and being thankful for all the good things that come our way.
I’ve had the the Sketched Plaid stamp for a while and it has yet to see ink! Wild Wheat is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colors which has been sadly neglected. Now that it’s autumn, it’s time to bring it out! It’s not one of my go to colours, but using an earthy colour like Copper Clay helps to “tone” it down.
It’s also a nice change to use fruit, in this case, the pears, as a harvest theme rather than pumpkins of yore. Although the leaf image is small, I still managed to use Copper Clay and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends to depict the leaves turning colour during the autumn season. It also helps to break up the sea of green leaves in the background. What do you think?
The linear images in this stamp set lends itself to colouring. I do love the alcohol markers as a colouring medium so I’ve used quite a few for this card!
