Here’s a child’s Birthday card featuring the Jungle Pals dies with the Jungle Pals stamp set. You can get the Jungle Pals dies free with a £90 purchase, and the Jungle Pals stamp set free with a £45 purchase.
I loved the pastel shades in the Lighter Than Air Suite Collection on pages 32-34 of the January-April 2024 mini so I bought the whole suite. Today’s card won’t be about hot air balloons and I doubt that its flight path would head for a jungle! I will certainly re-visit this collection in another post, but for today I’m using the banner die and the birthday greeting for the Jungle Pals card.
You’ll notice that I only inked part of the sentiment and omitted the “up, up, and away” bit which precedes the “Hooray! It’s your birthday” bit.
If you already have a library of all Stampin’ Up!’s cardstock then you can pick and choose whichever colour you wish for your floral elements. An effective cost saving way is to get an assortment pack in the colour family of your choice. The assortment packs usually contain two A4 sheets in each of the 10 colours in the colour family. I used the Neutrals Assortment A4 pack then when I needed another colour, I die cut the flowers in Basic White and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends.

There’s always a bit of smug satisfaction when I can use patterned paper which coordinates with something completely different. This one is an online exclusive introduced last March, I think called Hello, Irresistible. I thought it would make a perfect backdrop for a jungle scene…what do you think?
Inside card
I kept it really simple – there’s no stamping because you can use the scraps of pattern paper left over from the card front to decorate the inside.
