Thoughtful Expressions for Mother’s Day using Sale-a-bration’s 2023 New Core Colours Stampin’ Write Markers which is FREE with a £90 order. The Thoughtful Expressions Stamps & Dies are part of the Poetic Expressions Suite Collection. I love the dies which can turn a simple card into something more special – and who is more deserving than your Mum or Mom depending which side of the pond you’re in!
All around the world Mother’s Day is observed at different times of the year. Here in the UK, it’s usually in March, but down under, where my Mum is, it’s not until May!
I’ve used the Stampin’ Write markers to colour in the floral images – Lost Lagoon for the leaves, and a combination of Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst for the flowers. The advantage of Stampin’ Write Markers is that it will not bleed through the other side of the card stock.
The floral images were stamped twice. On the second set, I fussy cut the flowers only and adhered a second layer on top of each to add more depth.
The patterned paper is also from the same suite called Poetic Expressions 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) DSP and so is the Champagne Iridescent Dots. By purchasing the entire Poetic Expressions Suite and adding the Stippled Roses it will qualify for getting the 2023 New Core Colours Stampin’ Write Markers for free.
Inside card
I added another stamp set into the mix from the Stippled Roses stamp set. This set has a beautiful script font for “Happy Mother’s Day”. What I wouldn’t give to be possess such penmanship!
