Flip Flap Baby card. I called this the flip flap baby card but the flip flap part is just the mechanism that I adhered on top of a card base, so that’s the fun part. My niece was expecting her second baby in late April this year. I used the Cradled in Love stamp set which was one of the Sale-a-bration stamps you could earn free during the Sale-a-bration period in 2024.
I also used the Alphabest stamp set and punch which first appeared in the Annual Catalogue 2022-23 but has since retired. This card came about because her first born is now 2 years old and I thought he would love the interactive flip flap mechanism on the front of the card.
Collage
I made a collage so you can see how the flip flap mechanism works. As you pull the tab on the right, it reveals Flap 1, 2 and lastly 3 fully extended.
Another retired product I used is the Alphabest Stamp set and coordinating punch. I also used the Warm Welcome photopolymer stamp set which is available as an online exclusive.
Short and sweet today. I haven’t included instructions for this card but will revisit this type of fold another time.
