Easel card – Pocket Thoughts Bundle

Easel card – Pocket Thoughts Bundle. The Pocket Thoughts Bundle can so easily be overlooked. It’s a two-step stamp set. The images comprise a cup cake, wedding band, engagement ring, and a diploma, some simple sentiments. an arrow and a couple of hearts. There are 3 sizes of pocket dies with the finger hole and tabs incorporated.

I think this set would be perfect for making gift cards pockets but there’s so much more. I used the middle die to hold a pocket and also the Gone Fishing stamps. FYI The Gone Fishing stamps can no longer be purchased bundled with the dies, it can only be purchased separately because they were carried over to the annual catalogue.

I silver embossed the sentiment from Gone Fishing and die cut it with the 2nd smallest rectangle from Nested Essentials dies. There wasn’t any Smoky Slate ribbon, so I coloured the Iridescent ½” striped ribbon with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. For the tag layers, the bottom two corners were rounded off to make it easier to slide in and out, but this is optional because the corner rounder punches have been retired. Although there are dies which coordinate with Gone Fishing, I didn’t use them and just fussy cut the fishing fly to adhere to the right of the Easel Stopper.

The photos below shows different views of the card.

The easel card is a basic card with the front of the card scored in the centre. Then you fold this back and attach another piece of card stock (same size as the card base when closed) to the bottom half to create the easel.
